The Truckee River Foundation is pleased to announce the fourth annual Stay Afloat Safety Fair on Saturday, July 19th at Wingfield Park. Professionals will provide river safety classes tailored to kids between 8 and 12 years of age. Each child will be provided 45 minutes of river safety education, a Coast Guard-certified life jacket, a river appropriate helmet, a bag of swag and ice cream–all for free! Classes start at 10:00, 11:00, 12:30 and 1:30. If you would like to volunteer please contact Lynn Zonge at 775-883-1698.
