TRF River Safety Fair A Huge Success

For the fifth year, TRF’s Stay Afloat Safety Fair gave over a hundred kids free life jackets and helmets and taught them how to play safely in the river. This year’s advanced classes using boogie boards and helmet art booth were both big hits. Special thanks go to Girl Scouts Natalie Conboy, Teela Earl, Megan Holtorf and Megan Biggs for doing such a fantastic job to spread the river safety message at local summer camps and to provide the creative inspiration for helmet art. Also, thanks go to Olsen & Associates for getting out the word about this great event. Check back soon to see more pictures and a video showing what the Stay Afloat Safety Fair is all about.
